Beach Pt.4: Last Day

For my last day at the beach, I took Dad for a spin in the Lazy River. It was a little chilly so we got in the hot tub (or rather the "lukewarm" tub.)

That night we went putt-putting. (My first time!) Dad tried to show me how to use the putter, but I soon found out that rolling the ball worked better at getting the ball in the hole. It was kind of boring waiting for Mommy and Daddy to putt, so I took the opportunity to entertain myself as best I could. Afterwards we watched a pirate show. I really didn't like it that much and have changed my mind about becoming a pirate when I grow up. It seems a little dangerous and come to think of it, I don't like the ocean anyway!

Beach Pt.3: The Aquarium

It was too cold to swim this morning, so we went to the aquarium to see the "fishies". I saw all kinds of fishies: octupus, sea dragons, sharks, and my favorite: the Stingrays. I liked them best because I got to touch them. I just whispered, "C'mere, c'mere. I want to pet you!" And they came over! We went into a pirate exhibit which was really cool!! It was like being on a boat and you could see how the pirates lived. I spent the longest time under a crate examining the rats they had on display. Pirates were so lucky to get to live with rats on their boats! Once I discovered the moving walkway at the aquarium, I wasn't so interested in the fish anymore. I spent the rest of the time hopping on and off the walkway. We should install one at home!!

Beach Pt.2: MawMaw and PawPaw come to the Beach!

I started my day off with some chocolate chips; I mean, chocolate chip pancakes. I really liked them and I don't care if I never have regular pancakes again. I strutted to the bathroom covered in chocolate yelling my head off so everyone could see how yummy my breakfast was. Some nice lady in the bathroom had to help my Mommy clean me up. My MawMaw and PawPaw showed up later on a BIKE!!! I had to go to the "pawkin gaage" to see it. Then we went to eat at Margaritaville. I got a sword from some really tall guy on stilts. I'm thinking about becoming a pirate now! I can even do a good imitation of one: "Errr Mate!" And I like to hold one eye down with my hand to show a "patch".After dinner, we went to get fudge. I could hardly contain myself at the sight of all that chocolate!!!!!

Beach Pt.1: First Day

Mommy and Daddy picked me up from preschool and we headed off to the beach. I was so excited, I jabbered almost the whole way even though it was my naptime. Mommy finally put on some classical music and I passed out the last hour of the trip. When we got to the hotel, I spied the pool. I pestered Mommy and Daddy nonstop until they took me swimming. It was very windy but I was determined to enjoy myself. I couldn't convince Mommy to enjoy herself though. She's a wimp.Mommy and Daddy made me sleep in a drawer at the beach.
(Okay, not really but I offered to.)

Vince goes to preschool

Last week I went to orientation at my preschool. I asked Mommy to hold my hand going inside and I cried every time someone spoke to me. But once I realized Mommy wasn't going anywhere, I started to play and had a great time. Here I am heading off to preschool again today and so excited! I started talking to Mommy about my teacher, Ms. Lisa.

I dived right into playing with the toys and showing everything to Mommy. But then that mean Mommy of mine threw me a curve ball and told me she was going to the store and would come back for me later!!!! I cried my little heart out but she rushed out the door anyway. My teachers told Mommy that I was fine most of the morning and did things with the other kids, but I cried my little heart out again when she came to pick me up so hopefully she won't believe those teachers! And I make Mommy snuggle with me on the couch for a long time when we get home so she won't think she can just dump me off whenever she feels like it.
