Vince turns 4!!!

We celebrated Vince's birthday a little early to combine with his MawMaw's birthday. Vince pretended to sleep as everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to him. He also did this at a playdate when his friends sang to him. Ever the thespian! Cleaning up his cars that were used for cake toppers:Mia has put in a request for tissue paper for Christmas, particularly any edible kind.Vince did some fishing at his PawPaw's house but this was probably the highlight of his weekend:

Thank goodness for thumbs!! Because playing is so exhausting!!

Mia is still following the same growth curve so far . . .
Weight: 16lbs. 12oz. - 95%
Height: 25.5 in. - 90%
She showed the doctor all her moves, even tried to shimmy across the exam table on her elbows to get to a box of tongue depressors. And she was her usual smiley self to everyone until the dreaded shots.

Peaceful Weekend

We got to spend some rare, uninterrupted time with Mia this weekend while Vince visited his MawMaw and PawPaw. Mia is quite fond of her thumb these days:She's also fond of her new jumperoo:

When Vince got home, he finally decided he was ready to start pedaling his tricycle that he has had for almost two years! I guess he was inspired watching his PawPaw ride the motorcycle. He was so excited about learning how to do this that Jim had to drag him inside when it got dark kicking and screaming in typical Vince-style!
