Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Vince announced sometime around 5amish that it was snowing! We held him off for about an hour until I caught him putting his boots on with his jammies. Vince gets to work shoveling (err . . . mowing) out a path. Geez, this is hard work! I'm ready now too! Leg warmers, snowsuit, and tasteful hat - let's go! Let's go sledding! The new snow sport for 2009: handicap-skiing.I got to get out there again! Let's go make some snow angels, sis! Mia taste-tests some snowflakes. And finds them very exciting. Yeah, snow!!

Sledding with Dad can be a hazardous sport:

Well, I'm a Steamroller Baby . . . . . .

Mia normally steamrolls her babydoll or teddy bear but she made do with this Carolina outfit. I can't decide if it is affection or hostility toward these objects. Sometimes she growls at them also (which again could go either way, I suppose). I'll let you decide . . .

Mia is 9 months old!

Mia is now weighing in at 19lbs 12 oz. (70%) And 28.25in. in length. (75%). My scale at home is either off or Mia has joined millions of others and started her New Year's dieting. This is how she has been slimming down:

Some more Mia cuteness:
Mia's favorite game these days is Peekaboo. Sometimes she plays it all by herself. I came up to her with the camera to record this when she was playing alone one day. She was pulling the blanket over her head to hide out:

Happy Bloody New Year!!!!!

Vince started his New Year's Eve the way most people end their New Year's Eve - puking! But Mia had enough spirit for the both of them!!We celebrated an early New Year's with friends who have a baby and needed to be in bed early too. We did our countdown at 7pm (London time) or close to it anyway and were in bed by our normal time!! Vince perked up enough to do sparklers briefly. After a couple of minutes though, he told Jim he would watch from the window.
